Cash Application Team

More Details

Open to teams responsible for Cash Application / Cash Allocation.
Judges will be looking for evidence where the processing, efficiency and reporting visibility of receipts has significantly improved in the last 2 years. The judges may also be looking at solid performances in the face of increased workloads. These positive performance measures may have been the result of software upgrades, team realignment or simply a more focused and dedicated effort from the Cash Allocation team.
Nominations can be made for up to 5 individual country teams.

Here is an example of a nomination.

We implemented a new software programme (name of software programme and provider) in January 2021.
Over the period March 2020 to February 2022, the German unapplied cash has reduced by 25% from 37% to 12%.
We average 3750 remittances and Eur 7mm every day.
Automatic matching rates are 68%
FTE’s  were actually reduced from 24 to 22 as workload increased by 25%.

Credit Project

This award will focus on business processes.
Nominations can be made for up to 5 individual country teams.

It is open to any company that can demonstrate that the application of new technology or a policy, process or procedure has enhanced the quality, efficiency, cost effectiveness and added value of one or more functions in Order to Cash.

Examples where the judges will be looking are:
Improved communication with sales and customer service and / or customers, reporting visibility, forecasting, lower error rates and effective implementation within agreed budgets and timetables.

Other examples are working with 3rd parties in areas including Risk Management, Portfolio Analysis, E-Invoicing, Collections, Cash Application Collection Agencies, Data Analytics, Internal and External Communications and Dispute Management.

Extra consideration will be given where Callisto Grand Comparative Performance Measure (CPM), Contextual Coaching and / or workshops have been engaged since January 2021.

Credit Risk Initiative

More Details

Open to any company collecting receivables from businesses or consumers that can demonstrate significant improvements within their team over the last year, with special attention to reducing bad debt write-offs.
Nominations can be made for up to 5 individual country teams.

Please include measurable results to support the nomination.

Examples include implementing a new credit policy, a new bad debt reserve procedure,  in house credit scoring model or credit insurance programme since January 2021.

Collection Team

More Details

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a measurable improvement in their particular area of responsibility since January 2021.
Areas of focus can include a reduction in DSO or overdues through resolving complex disputes or improving communications with internal or external clients leading to measurable improvements. Any innovations in collection success in correlation to working from home should be highlighted.
Nominations can be made for up to 10 individual country teams.

Here is an example of a nomination.

We implemented a new software programme (name of software programme and provider) in January 2021……
And / or We embarked on a Working Capital efficiency project including a vision statement (example) and as a result ….from January 2021 to March 2022 , the German overdues has reduced by 25% from 27% to 2 %.
The result is an extra Euro 74mm cash converted from Trade Receivables.
Each collector averages 400 open accounts and annual sales of Eur 100mm.
Outbound call rates average 30 per person per day.

Credit Excellence

More Details

Nominations can come from any area of the credit industry.

The winner will be someone acknowledged by many to have devoted themselves to credit (Order to Cash) for a minimum of 3 years and who has made a positive difference to their company.

Examples are in team development as part of a transition, supporting individual development through external qualifications, successful integrations/implementations of the AR module on a new ERP system or leading a long-term project.

Credit Leadership

More Details

Nominations can come from any area of the credit industry.

The winner will be someone demonstrating leadership as the art of motivating a group of people to act toward achieving a common goal for a minimum of 5 years.

In a business setting, this can mean directing colleagues with a strategy and vision and as leader, is the inspiration for and director of the action.

Credit Talent Development

More Details

This award recognizes companies that offer the most relevant and effective professional development to all O2C employees.

This should include a long-term strategy, employer branding and adequate budget for newcomers, experienced staff and managers.
Evidence of measurable business success will include improvement in KPI’s and reduction in attrition rates or in house promotions within and outside of the Credit Department .

Outstanding Team Member Award

More Details

Nominations can come from any area of the Credit industry and should be geared towards more junior members of staff.

The winner will be someone within the team that has demonstrated going above and beyond; one who is exceeding company and departmental expectations. This person may have contributed new and innovative ideas that have improved processes. This is a person that might have overachieved in terms of DSO or other important KPI’s.  They may be a team member that has shown fortitude and an attitude that has helped to inspire and motivate others on their team. The winner will be someone who enhances the professionalism and reputation of the team.

Credit Climate Impact
